Rima is a multifaceted professional with experience in business psychology and educational support. As a former sheriff deputy and high school sign language interpreter, Rima has seen the effects of the gap between career readiness and recruiting expectations. She is driven by her desire to be the change she wants to see. Rima holds an MBA from Rice University and uses her knowledge and experience to transform youth of today into leaders of tomorrow.

As a recent graduate of the University of Houston, Caleb honed his skills in computer science and artificial intelligence with various startups and technology companies. His background in app development and human behavior brings a unique perspective to the Learn2SWITCH™ development team.

Kyle Cortez graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Information Systems. He likes to build websites and create robots using the Arduino IDE. In his free time, he likes to play tennis and games. He is a software developer for Learn2SWITCH and works toward creating the game through the Unity Engine.

Laura is a highly skilled educational expert and holds a Doctor of Education with a focus in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. She has over 20 years of experience working in school districts as a Director of Educational Technology leading innovative and collaborative groups of educators and technical professionals. She has written curriculum for online courses and programs, as well as continued her passion for teaching at the college level.

Melodie is a dedicated professional educator and administrator with experience in K-12 curriculum and instruction, teacher supervision, grant evaluation, and learning management systems. In her educational career, she served as a Technology Director and an Instructional Technology Consultant for Texas Education Service Centers. As a professional developer and trainer, she has presented on leadership, bilingual certification, and engaged-learning strategies. Melodie is semi-retired and contracts as an online instructional designer.

Elliot Guidry was born and bred in the heart of Houston, TX and so was his passion for visual storytelling at the intersection of raw talent and untold stories. In 2006 he transitioned from his studies at Texas Southern University (TSU) to go all in on bringing the local entertainment scene to life through his lens. Armed with a camera and an unwavering dedication to his craft, Elliot turned his passion into paper when he established Houston Trend Magazine (2009-present) which serves as a visual tapestry featuring in-depth interviews, striking visuals, and exclusive content that brings the stories of emerging Houston talents to a broader audience both in print and online. Houston TREND Magazine has featured talents from insert preferred artist from “still local” to global while Elliot has had his work used by powerhouses like Pepsi, Doritos, Ciroc, Hennessy, Moet, Bacardi.
